The photo caption reads (translated from the French): “It’s in the box! Shooting for the Scream 6 film has now ended. Well done to the Thunder team! We’d also like to thank producer Ron Lynch and Montreal for choosing Blackmore Productions as their city to shoot.”

This next Scream (no exact title has yet been revealed) is directed by the returning team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

The film stars veterans Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega–who hook up with newcomers Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny. As all fans know, Neve Campbell will not reprise her Sidney Prescott role in this film.

This Scream–according to the short synopsis that has been revealed so far–follows “the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.” And their trek reportedly will take them to the bright lights of New York City. Blood on Broadway.
