Baby Ruby–a new horror pic from Magnet Releasing–will deliver its chills and thrills in a couple of weeks, and a trailer has dropped (check it out below) to introduce the tiny terror.
The film–from writer/director Bess Wohl–hits theaters and digital Feb. 3, and stars Noemie Merlant, Kit Harington, Meredith Hagner and Jayne Atkinson in a harrowing story of a young entrepreneur who’s awaiting the arrival of her first child.
Baby Ruby follows Jo (Merlant) as she welcomes her newborn daughter home, but something feels off. Is something wrong with her–or with Ruby? And why are the seemingly perfect neighborhood moms so desperate to be her friend?
And then, as Jo fights to protect herself and her baby, “she is plunged into a waking fever dream where everyone is a threat–and nothing is what it seems,” according to the synopsis. Finally, she “must confront the truth of her own darkness and contend with the ultimate human sacrifice that every mother must make.”
