Scarlett Johansson in talks to join ‘Jurassic World’

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Scarlett Johansson is in talks to join Universal’s new Jurassic World movie. No official plot details have been released yet, but there are rumors that Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will not be returning.

Gareth Edwards, who replaced David Leitch, is set to direct the film which is based on a script from the legendary David Koepp.

Released in 1993, Jurassic Park, the original film in the franchise, took the world by storm. The film, which was directed by Steven Spielberg, earned a whopping $1.058 billion at the box office on a budget of $63 million. The feature starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, Bob Peck, Martin Ferrero, BD Wong, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Knight, Joseph Mazzello, and Ariana Richards.
