‘Scared To Death’ Starts Shooting Next Month

by Thomas Tuna

Making movies can be a scary proposition.

Scared to Death–a new horror entry from Mirror Films–is filling out its cast just in time to start shooting in Los Angeles next month, according to a report on Deadline.

Genre standouts Lin Shaye (the Insidious franchise) and Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects) will join Olivier Paris (How I Met Your Father) and Emmy Award winner Victoria Konefal (Days of Our Lives) in the cast.

In the feature, a group of young filmmakers enter an abandoned children’s orphanage in order to research a movie they’re planning–“and that’s their first mistake,” according to the brief logline.

Paul Boyd (I, Challenger) will direct from his own screenplay, and Eric Barrett will produce alongside Shaye.
