Saturday Morning Mystery Review

Review by: Rob Caprilozzi

Synopsis: Four professional ghost hunters, who travel in a vintage van accompanied by their canine companion (sound familiar?), get far more than they bargained for when they investigate a creepy mansion with a mysterious past.

Our Thoughts: How would I describe Saturday Morning Mystery? Imagine if Rob Zombie directed a movie mash up of Scooby-Doo meets Wrong Turn.

I have always been a huge fan of Scooby-Doo so when the chance to review Saturday Morning Mystery came around I jumped at the opportunity. After the watching the movie I can say that it was a great surprise.

Director, Spencer Parsons does a fantastic job of mixing horror, comedy and campiness. Some movies don’t do a good job when it comes to that balancing act but Parsons meshes them beautifully.

The cast delivers a solid performance as a whole. Each character is believable as we learn their character traits and flaws. Ashley Rae Spillers does a fantastic job in the lead role of Nancy.

If you are looking for an interesting independent horror movie look no further than this title.
