The lady just can’t stop hanging around monsters.
Sarah Michelle Gellar–known to horror fans for her starring role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer–has joined Wolf Pack, the Teen Wolf spinoff series slated for Paramount+ later this year, in a leading role and as executive producer, according to a report on Deadline.
The new series–written by Teen Wolf executive producer Jeff Davis–is based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom. The storyline follows a teenage boy, Everett (Armani Jackson), and girl, Blake (Bella Shepard), “whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature,” according to the logline.
In the show, Gellar will play an investigator named Kristin Ramsey, described as a “highly regarded expert in her field who is brought in by the authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started the massive wildfire.”
Gellar joins the previously announced Jackson, Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson as Luna and Tyler Lawrence Gray as Harlan.
Davis and Gellar will also serve as executive producers, along with Joe Genier, Mike Elliott and Jason Ensler.
