WGN casts Lucy Lawless, Stuart Townsend, Joe Doyle and Oliver Bell in season two of ‘Salem’. Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus) is set to play Countess Marburg, who is one of the last surviving descendants to a German line of witches. Townsend (Betrayal, Queen of the Damned) is cast as Samuel Wainwright, an aristocrat and doctor interested in uncovering Salem’s secrets, while keeping his own. Doyle is playing the Coutess’ son Baron Marburg. Bell is returning as Mary’s long lost son who was believed to be dead. Season two of ‘Salem’ is set to premiere in April on WGN America.
