This just in courtesy of Deadline, the new Dark Tales of Sabrina Netflix series has cast more lead characters with a wealth of fresh talent.
Jaz Sinclair (Easy) has been chosen to play Rosalind Walker, Sabrina’s best friend. As the daughter of Greendale’s minister, she is described as “brash, empowered, and outspoken.”
Hilda Spellman, one of Sabrina’s two witch aunts, is to be played by British actress Lucy Davis, known for her work on the UK version of The Office and 2017’s live action Wonder Woman. Sabrina’s other aunt, named Zelda, has not been cast as of yet.
Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) will play Mary Wardell, a teacher at Baxter High where Sabrina is a student.
Newcomer Chance Perdom is set to play Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina’s cousin from England who has been put on house arrest by the Witches Council.
The upcoming series comes from Riverdale developer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and executive-producer Greg Berlanti.
So far, Twenty hour-long episodes have been ordered that would air over two seasons and be filmed back-to-back. However, no premiere date has yet been set.
