Ryan Murphy Details American Horror Story Crossover Season Madness!

Were you left disappointed that American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare wasn’t convoluted enough because Sarah Paulson’s Lana Winters didn’t join the season until after Sarah Paulson’s Audrey Tindall died? If the answer’s “Yes!”, I’ve got good news for you!

Showrunner Ryan Murphy has recently shared his plans with Entertainment Weekly about an upcoming crossover season of American Horror Story that promises to complicate matters much further. Here’s what he had to say:

“It’s a character from season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy. And then all of those characters will intertwine, which is confusing because some of them are from seasons 1 and 3. Like, Sarah Paulson will probably be playing 18 characters.”

“It’s not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that’s a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre.”

Very bizarre, indeed!
