The running is almost over–the finish line is in sight.
Run Sweetheart Run–a film described as a “feminist horror-thriller”–will make a Halloween splash on Amazon Prime Video Oct. 28, according to a report on Deadline.
In this feature–directed by Shana Feste from a screenplay she wrote with Keith Josef Adkins and Kellee Terrell–“after what begins as dinner with a client, a single mom (Ella Balinska) is hunted by a monstrous and seemingly unstoppable assailant (Pilou Asbaek),” according to the synopsis.
The rest of the cast includes Ami Ameen, Dayo Okeniyi, Betsy Brandt, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Clark Gregg.
The R-rated film is produced by Feste, Effie T. Brown, Jason Blum and Brian Kavanaugh, alongside executive producers Jennifer Besser, Couper Samuelson, Bea Sequeira and Jeanette Volturno.
