Sarah Paulson continues to have a monstrous 2020 as her latest film, Run, has set a record at Hulu for the streamers most watched movie ever during its opening weekend. In addition, the film has ranked as the most talked about Hulu original on Twitter, according to a report on Deadline.
The critics consensus on Rotten Tomatoes currently sits a 93% with a total of 83 reviews. The audience seemed less impressed with the film as it has a current rating of 79% on 234 reviews.
One thing everyone can agree on is that Sarah Paulson is becoming a huge deal in the horror realm. Her Netflix series, Ratched ranked as the best new series on the streaming giant in 2020. The versatile actress also has plans to step behind the camera to direct an episode of American Horror Stories.
The official synopsis of Run reads: There’s something unnatural about the relationship between Chloe (Kiera Allen) and her mom, Diane (Sarah Paulson). Diane has raised her daughter in isolation, controlling every move since birth, and there are secrets that Chloe’s only starting to grasp.
Directed by Aneesh Chaganty, Run also features Sara Sohn, Pat Healy, Erik Athavale, BJ Harrison and Onalee Ames.
