Rosario Dawson Joins ‘Terminator Zero’

Netflix is ramping up the voice actors for their upcoming Terminator Zero animated series. Rosario Dawson, Ann Dowd, Andre Holland and Sonoya Mizuno have signed on to join the voice cast, according to a report on Deadline.

Dawson will play the role of Kokoro, an advanced AI and Japan’s answer to Skynet. Dowd will play The Prophet, a philosophical guide for the human resistance. Holland has signed on as Malcolm Lee, a computer programmer who’s haunted by nightmare of a future apocalypse. Finally, Mizuno will voice Eiko, a resistance fighter sent back in time to stop Malcolm from activating Kokoro.

As we reported earlier, Timothy Olyphant will voice the Terminator in the series.

The official synopsis of the series reads “Caught between the future and this past is a soldier sent back in time to change the fate of humanity. She arrives in 1997 to protect a scientist named Malcolm Lee who works to launch a new AI system designed to compete with Skynet’s impending attack on humanity. As Malcolm navigates the moral complexities of his creation, he is hunted by an unrelenting assassin from the future which forever alters the fate of his three children.”
