Rob Zombie Provides Updates About ‘3 From Hell’

by Nick Banks

Rob Zombie’s highly anticipated sequel to The Devil’s Rejects (naturally entitled 3 From Hell) has been shrouded in mystery since Zombie announced the project.  Luckily, for fans of the director, Zombie has begun to release some information about 3 From Hell and he recently took to facebook to reveal some tantalizing details.

According to Zombie, 3 From Hell faced some of the same difficulties that most of his film’s have faced (most notably his first feature film, House of 1,000 Corpses) when it came to securing an R Rating from the MPAA, saying “…we finally received our R Rating (for strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity and drug use). This was a very long process and threw us a couple months behind schedule. It’s a drag to be sure, but that the way it goes.”

Zombie also stated that this was “… the reason you haven’t seen a trailer yet. We are currently working on a trailer and hope to get it out in the world ASAP.”

3 From Hell has been rumored for a fall 2019 release, but no date has been confirmed as of yet.

The ensemble cast includes the original 3 From Hell: Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley, and Sid Haig, as well as Danny Trejo, Kevin Jackson, Wade Williams, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Clint Howard, Pancho Moler, Emilio Rivera, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Sean Whalen, Austin Stoker, Dee Wallace, Richard Brake, Bill Oberst Jr., Richard Riehle, Dot-Marie Jones and Tom Papa(and confirmed cameo appearances by Barry Bostwick and Chaz Bono).
