Will love conquer all?
Rick & Michonne–one of the AMC spinoffs of its The Walking Dead zombie phenomenon–has wrapped filming in New Jersey after just three months of production.
Check out the tweet from the show’s executive producers that makes the official announcement, and thanks the cast and crew for their “talent, energy and enthusiasm that has been the thing that’s gotten us through it all–bringing home a story more than a decade in the telling.”

The six-episode series–expected to debut on AMC sometime next year–stars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira as Michonne Hawthorne in “an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world,” according to the logline.
In the show, the pair is “thrown into another world–built on the war against the dead. Can they find each other–and who they are–in a place and situation unlike any they’ve known before?”
Gurira has also written the scripts with showrunner Scott M. Gimple, who said the actor has challenged him. “And I challenge her,” he said. “Neither of us lets the other off the hook.”
