During the ‘Scream Queen’s panel at PaleyFest, it was confirmed that Jamie Lee Curtis, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourde, and Glenn Powell will be reprising their roles in Season 2. Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and Niecy Nash, along with co-creator and executive producer Brad Falchuck were already confirmed as returning to Fox’s horror anthology series.
Falchuck gave a few details of season two, saying that it was in it’s early stages of writing and will take place in a hospital. He said, “Dean Munsch has moved on to great success, she’s abolished the Greek system in the country…she’s written her book, she’s traveled the world, and is like, ‘I need a new mission.'” She is goes into the health care field, deciding to purchase a hospital and “runs the hospital the way she sees fit,” and takes cases that seem incurable – “cases that no one else will take.” He said that great thinkers and medical students will be drawn to the hospital, including Zaday, who graduated from Wallace College and is training to be a physician under Dean Munsch.
The Chanels, who were committed to a mental institution at the end of season one, have “flipped and taken their education seriously while in the institution,” and decide to become medical students. He added that Hester “intimately involved with” a plot line line involving a killer. Denise, who will be involved in the troubles at the hopstial, has joined the FBI.
Curtis noted that “Halloween 2 was in a hospital. … They’re following the Halloween model all the way.”
