Renfield–the horror-comedy that puts a modern spin of the adventures of Dracula’s favorite lackey–hit theaters back in April, and now comes home to the small screen next week.
The film–starring Nicholas Hoult in the title role and Nic Cage as the vampire count–lands on Peacock June 9, preceded by a digital and physical release June 6.
The R-rated flick–directed by Chris McKay from a screenplay by Ryan Ridley–also stars Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, Adrian Martinez, Shoreh Aghdashloo, Bess Rous and James Moses Black.
In the film, Renfield has been forced to “procure his master’s prey and do his every bidding.” But now, the gofer wants his freedom, and rebels against the bloodsucker. But he still must “figure out how to end his co-dependency.”
