Release Date Gets Pushed Back For ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ and ‘The Witches’

A number of upcoming horror films have adjusted their release dates according to Deadline.

One of the biggest, Godzilla vs. Kong has flexed out of its November 2020 spot and the two titans will now do battle on May 21, 2021.

The synopsis for Godzilla vs. Kong is as follows:
In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Meanwhile Robert Zemeckis adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches has been moved from October 9, 2020 to an unknown date at this time.

The film is described as:
A little boy and his kindly grandmother thwart the efforts of a coven of witches to rid Britain of children by turning them into mice.
