Can you hear the calendar turning?
They Listen–a horror film from Blumhouse Productions and Sony Pictures–had been scheduled for a theatrical release this summer, but fans will have to wait another year to “hear” the screams.
The film this week was bumped back from its August 25 release date to Aug. 30, 2024. No reason for the change was immediately given, and no clue about the storyline has yet been dropped.
From writer/director Chris Weitz (American Pie), the feature stars Katherine Waterston, John Cho, Wyatt Lindner, Havana Rose Liu, Ben Youcef, Keith Carradine, Greg Hill, Riki Lindhomme and Lukita Maxwell.
Weitz is also producing the movie, along with Jason Blum and Andrew Miano–with Bea Sequeira, Dan Balgoyen, Britta Rowings and Paul Davis serving as executive producers.
