The film–which starts to stream on Shudder July 14–is directed by Andres Beltran from a screenplay by Matt Pitts, and stars Carolina Galtan and Allan Hawco.
In the feature, an American couple on the brink of divorce travel to Columbia for a work conference, but find way more than they bargained for.
The couple is forced to struggle for survival when they become trapped in a pit of quicksand while hiking through the rain forest. And the jungle itself seems to conspire against them, as a venomous snake rears its poisonous head.
