Production Begins on Season 2 of ‘Wednesday’

“Here we woe again.”

Get ready Wednesday fans, today Netflix unveiled a short “Cast Reveal” video for Season 2 of their hit series Wednesday. The teaser, which can be seen below, centers on Thing delivering scripts to the cast including Joy Sunday (Bianca), Joanna Lumley (Grandmama), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Emma Myers (Enid), Steve Buscemi (Barry Dort), Billie Piper (Capri), Thandiwe Newton (Dr. Fairburn), and Jenna Ortega (Wednesday). Thing snaps outside of Jenna’s door and he waits as the door opens. “Hello, Thing,” Says Ortega. “More torture awaits.”

Wednesday Season 2 is currently in production with Jenna Ortega, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Joanna Lumley, Christopher Lloyd, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Fred Armisen, Thandiwe Newton, Victor Dorobantu, Billie Piper, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Isaac Ordonez, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, Frances O’Connor, Joonas Suotamo, Jamie McShane and more.

Wednesday was a smash hit for Netflix as it spent 20 weeks on the Global Top 10 and reached the top 10 in 93 countries. Season two hopes to continue that success.
