Just when you thought your other horror collectibles were safe…
Two new Chucky dolls from Trick or Treat Studios are now available for pre-order, and both will start shipping in time for the holiday season. Check out the photos of the dolls–courtesy of news.toyark.com–on this page.
First there’s the Ultimate Life-Size Chucky Figure–standing an impressive 29 inches tall–that was sculpted by Cesar Dacol Jr. The figure boasts a tailored fabric outfit, rooted hair, moveable eyes and magnets in the hands to (of course) hold weapons. And the accessory that’s available for the doll is a 10-inch-long voodoo knife.
This figure–priced at $599.99–will start shipping Dec. 5. And, if you want the knife, it will set you back another $14.99.
The other collectible is the Plush Body Good Guy Doll–developed by Garret Zima–that stands 30 inches tall (if it could stand up straight). It has a stuffed plush body, a fabric outfit, vinyl head and hands and rooted hair. Priced at $199.99, it also ships Dec. 5.
Chucky, of course, has his murderous origins in the Child’s Play franchise, which began with the classic 1988 film from director Tom Holland and screenwriters Don Mancini and John Lafia. The original–which raked in $44 million on a $9-million budget–spawned six sequels, comic books, loads of merchandise and the Chucky TV series that debuted last year.
