Pray For Dark crowdfunding campaign launched

Vaylr Studios today announces they have launched a crowdfunding campaign for their major PC/Mac video game project, “Pray For Dark.” It is an "Action-Horror on Adrenaline" game. The story written by Vaylr’s creative director, Michael Ingrassia, was inspired by several characters originally created and licensed by gothic fantasy artist BROM. There are many game play elements typical to the “survival horror” game genre but faster paced, producing the feel of a psychological drama with action and terror. The development team agrees this gaming experience is so scary they are calling it a “Psycho-Terror”. “By cleverly combining a series of animated, visual and aural effects through the use of effects and 5:1 surround sound, the fully immersive environments become a virtual fright-fest for the players eyes and ears,” promises writer and creative director, Michael Ingrassia. The game’s main character, Angel (aka “Sewer Man”), is blind but he shares the same visual abilities as the mutant beasts roaming the sewers below. He wears specialized goggles that have many features, including the use of a blend of light emission and echolocation enabling him to see. One of the most unique gameplay aspects is the weaponry system, permitting players to enhance their weapon capabilities through the use of specialized fuel capsules known as “juice.” These enhancements become necessary as the player progresses deeper down into the subterranean levels that become increasingly challenging as the player descends further into the game and story. For this original IP, sure to quickly garner a huge following, Vaylr has secured several senior production talents to ensure the game delivers what fans most want—a high quality art and game play experience.
