Poster Unfurls For R.L. Stine’s ‘Zombie Town’ Feature

by Jayson Drury

A cursed film and a town full of zombies. What’s the problem?

Zombie Town–the latest film adaptation of an R.L. Stine novel–will hit the big screen this December (stay tuned for an exact date), and a new poster has dropped to tease the chills to come. Check out the artwork on this page.

The film–directed by Peter Lepeniotis (The Nut Job) and based on the 2012 Stine book of the same name–follows 12-year-old Mike and friend Karen who, after seeing the movie Zombie Town, find that the undead characters on the screen have come to life and are wreaking havoc on their town.

In order to fight back, the teens must enlist the aid of some unexpected helpers in order to survive the night and prevent the entire town becoming fodder for the brain-consuming monstrosities.

The cast of the new pic includes genre veterans Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase, along with Marion Kazadi (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Madi Monroe (Attaway General), Henry Czerny (Ready or Not) and Kids in the Hall stars Scott Thompson and Bruce McCulloch.
