Hollywood has suffered another loss today. Peter Mark Richman, who had appeared in over 130 television series and 30 films throughout his Hollywood career, which lasted over 60 years, has passed away at the age of 93, according to a report on Variety.
Horror fans will remember his role of biology teacher, Charles McCulloch, in 1989’s Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. The evil teacher gets what’s coming to him towards the end of the film as Jason drowns him in a barrel of toxic waste.
Richman also had memorable roles in Beverly Hills, 90210, Dynasty, Santa Barbara, Three’s Company, Blind Ambition, Hawaii Five O, The Fall Guy, The Bionic Woman, Knight Rider, Matlock, Longstreet and Fantasy Island.
Richman is survived by his wife of 67 years, five children and his six grandchildren. We here at Horror News Network send our deepest condolences to Peter’s friends and family.
