| Pete Postlethwaite, the Oscar-nominated British actor, has died at the age of 64 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Postlethwaite received an Oscar nomination for his supporting role in Jim Sheridan’s In the Name of the Father. Postlethwaite also appeared in Steven Spielberg’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park, David Fincher’s Alien 3, The Last of the Mohicans, The Omen remake, Dark Water and many other films.
