The Headless Horseman will ride again.

Lindsey Beer–the filmmaker behind the upcoming Pet Sematary prequel–is working with Paramount Pictures on a reboot of the classic Sleepy Hollow tale, according to a report on Deadline.

Beer is on board to write and direct the remake, and will also produce the film alongside Todd Garner and Spencer Walken of Broken Road Productions. Plot details and a production schedule have not yet been revealed.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow–the 1820 short story by Washington Irving–follows Ichabod Crane, who travels to the small town of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. to become its schoolmaster and becomes the target of the supernatural phenomenon of the ghost of the Headless Horseman.

Paramount adapted the story for the big screen back in 1999–with director Tim Burton and star Johnny Depp–to a $200-million payoff at the global box office.

Beer made her directorial debut with the Pet Sematary prequel, which is now in post-production with an eye toward a theatrical release later this year. In TV, she serves as showrunner and writer for Netflix’ The Magic Order, based on the comic book series by Mark Millar.
