Paramount Adapting ‘He’ll Come Knocking’ To Big Screen

by Thomas Tuna

Some dreams come with a price.

He’ll Come Knocking–a horror novel by Robert McCammon–is headed to theaters, as Paramount Pictures this week acquired the spec package, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Patrick Brice (There’s Someone Inside Your House) is on board in the director’s chair, with Jordan Goldberg and Alex Paraskevas working on the screenplay. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing the flick.

At this early stage, there’s no word on casting, production schedules or a release window.

The novel follows an ex-convict who lands a new job “in a revitalized factory town, hoping to turn around his family’s life–only to discover that their idyllic suburban dream requires a terrible sacrifice,” according to the brief logline.
