To the delight of binge watchers everywhere, Netflix has revealed the official trailer for Mindhunter Season 2. The 90-second trailer shows the despair of a city gripped with fear while also teasing the series debut of Charles Manson.
Season two focuses on the Atlanta murders (aka Atlanta child murders) of 1979–81. The sophomore season of Mindhunter will consist of eight episodes.
Debuting on October 13, 2017, season one of Mindhunter was set in 1977 and centers on FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench, along with psychologist Wendy Carr, as the trio develops the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit. They interview imprisoned serial killers in order to understand how they think, with the hope of applying this knowledge to solve ongoing cases.
