It really is better the second time around.
The second season of the hit USA and Syfy series Chucky debuts Oct. 5, and the official trailer became available this weekend. Check out the preview of the maniacal mayhem to come on this page.
Chucky 2–from series creator Don Mancini and Nick Antosca–picks up after the events in the Cult of Chucky feature film in the Child’s Play franchise. Production on the new season is expected to wrap sometime next month.
The killer doll’s diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was thwarted at the end of Season 1, so it’s back “seeking revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with Tiffany–now his sworn enemy,” according to the logline.
The show also stars Brad Dourif (as the unmistakable voice of Chucky), Jennifer Tilly, Lachlan Watson, Meg Tilly, Gina Gershon, Joe Pantoliano, Tony Nappo, Sutton Stracke, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Barbara Alyn Woods, Devon Sawa and Lara Jean Chorostecki.
