Skull Island–an animated Netflix series that depicts Legendary’s MonsterVerse in a new way–will debut in a handful of days, and the official trailer is now here. Check out Kong and his fellow monsters doing their thing on this page.
The show–from Legendary Television and Powerhouse Animation–is written by series creator and executive producer Brian Duffield (Cocaine Bear).
Skull Island–starting on Netflix June 22–follows a group of explorers as they rescue Annie (Mae Whitman) from the ocean, “unaware that their act of heroism will lead them to the dangerous Skull Island, home to many terrifying monsters–including the mighty Titan, Kong.”
The voice cast also includes Nicolas Cantu as Charlie, Darren Barnett as Mike, Benjamin Bratt as Cap and Betty Gilpin as Irene.
