Lisa Frankenstein–a new way to look at the classic Mary Shelley horror tale–just released a couple of first-look images yesterday, and now fans can check out the first teaser trailer on this page.
The horror-comedy–directed by Zelda Williams from a screenplay by Diablo Cody–hits the big screen Feb. 9, 2024–starring Cole Sprouse as the “monster”, Kathryn Newton, Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, Henry Eikenberry and Liza Soberano.
In the film–set in 1989–an unpopular high school girl accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm. After that, the teenager “starts to rebuild the corpse into the man of her dreams–using the broken tanning bed in her garage.”
