In case the big-screen frights of Halloween Kills aren’t enough for you, a novelization of the next entry in the iconic horror franchise will be in bookstores in time for (you guessed it) Halloween.
Horror and fantasy author Tim Waggoner has translated the cinematic terrors of Halloween Kills into a novel, according to JoBlo.com, and Amazon reportedly is now accepting pre-orders for the book. The film hits theaters Oct. 15, and the novelization–check out the cover on this page–will be available Oct. 19.
The storyline of the 320-page novelization from Titan Books was not revealed–much like the plot for the film has been kept under wraps–but it can be assumed it will draw on the movie’s screenplay and possibly expand on characters in the film.
The R-rated Halloween Kills from Universal Pictures–directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Scott Teems and Danny McBride–picks up after the events of 2018’s Halloween.
The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Judy Greer as her daughter Karen and Andi Matichak as her granddaughter Allyson. The seemingly indestructible Michael Myers is played by Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney.
