It really is a dog-eat-dog world.

Nightbitch–described as a “darkly comic neo-horror film”–has added another cast member as it starts production, according to a report on Deadline.

Mary Holland (Senior Year) joins the previously announced Amy Adams and Scoot McNairy in the Searchlight Pictures feature. No details on Holland’s character were revealed.

The pic–which does not yet have a release window–will eventually debut on Hulu in the U.S., with additional release plans to be announced.

Nightbitch–written and directed by Marielle Heller from Rachel Yoder’s bestselling debut novel–follows a suburban mother “thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler, but who slowly embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood,” according to the synopsis.

The women (Adams) becomes “increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into canine.” Time for a doggie door.
