Who let these dogs out?
Nightbitch–a darkly conic horror entry from Searchlight Pictures that will eventually debut on Hulu (stay tuned for an exact date)–this week earned its MPA rating.
The feature–written and directed by Marielle Heller from Rachel Yoder’s novel–has been rated R for “language and some sexuality.”
Starring Amy Adams, Scoot McNairy and Mary Holland, the film follows a suburban mom “thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler, but who slowly embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood.”
The mom (Adams) becomes “increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a canine.” Wag your tail if you’re happy.
