For Nicolas Cage, there’s life after Dracula.

The Oscar winner–who plays the Vampire Lord in the upcoming horror-comedy Renfield–this week landed the lead role in another horror pic, Longlegs, according to a report on Deadline.

Longlegs–from C2 Motion Picture Group–is said to be “in the vein of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers.” No plot details were revealed, but shooting is expected to start sometime next year.

Osgood Perkins (Gretel & Hansel) is directing the feature from his own screenplay. Cage is also producing the film, along with Dan Kagan (Significant Other), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious), Dave Caplan (The End We Start From) and Chris Ferguson (Child’s Play).
