OK, who wants to be terrified?
Terrifier 3–the next installment in the popular slasher franchise–is expected to get in front of the cameras late this year, aiming for a late 2024 release, according to a report on Deadline.
The new film–led by returning writer/director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone–will star David Howard Thornton (reprising his Art the Clown role) and Lauren LaVera (returning as Sienna).
Plot details have not yet been revealed, but The Coven will serve as executive producers, and also launch worldwide sales on the feature, which will enjoy a budget reported to be in the low-to mid-seven figures. More money, more blood and gore?
The third entry will no doubt build on Terrifier 2, which follows Art the Clown who–after being resurrected by a sinister entity–returns to Miles County where he targets a teenage girl and her kid brother on Halloween night. The film raked in more than $15 million worldwide on a budget of just $250,000.
