by Thomas Tuna

In a city of millions, no one hears you scream.

Scream VI–the newly minted official title of next year’s entry in the classic horror franchise–now has its first official teaser. Check out the all-new Manhattan subway scene on this page.

The new film–which slashes its way into theaters March 10, 2023–is directed by the returning  Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and screenwriters James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

Scream VI will also bring back veterans Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding–along with newcomers Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny.

The new film–as the teaser shows–follows the four survivors of the last Ghostface killings, as they leave Woodsboro far behind and enter the concrete canyons (and dangerous subways) of New York City. Where better can the masked killer strike with impunity?
