Blood Day can get a little messy.
Fanged–a new vampire flick from Empyrean Pictures and Rebel Maverick–recently wrapped shooting in Atlanta, according to a report on Deadline. No release window has been announced.
Screenwriters and directors George Watson and Kapers Williams make their feature film debut with Fanged, which stars Tamera Kissen (White Man Can’t Jump)–alongside Selena Anduze (WandaVision), Tyler Abron (Lace), Ravyn Rochelle (Good Intentions), Ashley Nocera (King Bachelor’s Pad), Kylie Jordan (The Things We Survive), Pauline Brown and Mataya Sweeting.
The film follows a group of young vampires celebrating the Blood Day of one of their own–Jasmine. After feasting, they find themselves “in a deadly situation as they’re trapped by an invisible barrier that burns them every time they try to escape,” according to the synopsis.
The vampires ration the remaining blood they collected, but it becomes clear that if they don’t feed soon, they’ll perish. “As their chances of escape diminish, the vampires unleash the true monsters inside them all.”
Watson and Williams also serve as producers, with Matt Nicholas and Nastassja Kayln as executive producers.
