New characters, new dangers.
In the aftermath of the dramatic sixth episode of The Last of Us–the HBO adaptation of the Naughty Dog video game sensation–a preview trailer has dropped to tease Episode 7, slated to air Feb. 26. Check out the video on this page.
The trailer explores how Ellie will have to pick up her game after the last chapter, and also introduces viewers to Storm Reid’s Riley Abel, Ellie’s best friend.
The Last of Us–led by showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann–is set in a perilous post-apocalyptic world where the Cordyceps fungus has transformed people into zombie-like creatures.
Trying to survive in this nightmare is Joel (Pedro Pascal), who’s hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of a quarantine zone. Easier said than done when you’re being pursued by dangerous monsters.
The rest of the cast includes Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Lamar Johnson, Kelvonn Woodard, Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.
