The hype machine is operating at warp speed for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon–the AMC spinoff of the zombie mothership that’s just weeks away from its debut–and a new teaser dropped this week. Check out this peek at the new series on this page.
The new show–hitting AMC Sept. 10 (and already renewed for a second season)–is led by showrunner David Zabel and stars Norman Reedus, who reprises his fan-favorite Daryl Dixon role.
The storyline finds Dixon washed ashore in post-apocalyptic France–complete with a new batch of deadly Walkers–with no idea how he got there. While Dixon tries to find a way to return home, he’s recruited for a mission to bring a young boy named Laurent across the country. And this mission may help in his struggles against the undead.
Rounding out the Daryl Dixon cast are Clemence Poesy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levy and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.
