The CW has picked up more pilots today, including one for a new ‘Tales From The Darkside’ series. A reinvention of the original 1980’s series, the show will follow the same anthology style format, with a different story, actors and director for each episode. Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son and Locke & Key writer) is behind the new series, which will be produced by Alex Kurtzmen and Roberto Orci (both from Sleepy Hollow) as part of their deal with CBS studios. Producer for the original show Jerry Golod is executive producing, along with Heather Kadin and Mitchell Galin.
