New Swamp Thing Figure Grows Large From McFarlane Toys

It may not be easy being green, but it just got a lot easier to add Swamp Thing to your horror collection.

A brand-new Swamp Thing Seven-Inch Scale Mega Figure is shambling out from the muck and mire next month from McFarlane Toys, as reported by news.toyark.com. The incredibly detailed figure–priced at around $40 and available now for preorder–is expected to hit stores in November.

The figure–which boasts swap-out regular and spike hands, arms and legs–is designed with McFarlane’s signature ultra-articulation and 22 moving parts for full range and posing on the stand. Swamp Thing also comes with a collectible art card with a character biography on the back.

Swamp Thing–a DC Comics character created by writer Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson–is a humanoid/plant elemental creature that first appeared in House of Secrets No. 92 (July 1971). The character has inspired two feature films and two live-action TV series.
