New Shark Horror Feature ‘Deep Water’ Wraps Production

Never get in too deep.

Deep Water–one more briny adventure replete with shark horror–is wrapping production, and a first-look image has dropped. Check out the photo on this page.

The Simmons/Hamilton Productions film–directed by Renny Harlin (Deep Blue Sea) from a screenplay by Pete Bridges and John Kim–does not yet have a release window.

The cast is led by Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Ben Kingsley (Gandhi), Molly Wright (True Spirit), Angus Sampson (Mad Max: Fury Road) and Kelly Gale (Plane).

Deep Water follows passengers on a plane–en route from Los Angeles to Shanghai–that’s forced to make an emergency landing in shark-infested waters.

Trying to deal with this life-threatening crisis, the passengers must work together and overcome their differences if they hope to escape the sinking plane and the hungry sharks drawn to the wreckage.
