Relish the past. Look forward to the future.

That seems to be the theme of a new video dropped to whet fandom’s appetite for Stranger Things 4, slated to start on Netflix in May. Check out the promo–courtesy of cbr.com–on this page.

The video gives brief glimpses into some of the more memorable moments of the first three seasons of the popular series–including the boys finding Eleven in the woods and Lucas tossing fireworks into the Mind Flayer’s mouth. Good times.

The much-delayed fourth season of Stranger Things–led, of course, by show creators and showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer–will air in two parts. Volume 1 will debut May 27, with Volume 2 starting July 1. As reported, the fifth and final season will wrap up the compelling storyline.

The upcoming season will deal with the fact that David Harbour’s Police Chief Jim Hopper is alive, but “imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human–and other,” according to the logline.

Meanwhile, back in the States, “a new horror is beginning to surface–something long buried, something that connects everything.”

Stranger Things–which debuted on Netflix in 2016–follows the residents of Hawkins, Ind. in the 1980s as they deal with the supernatural threat of the alternate dimension known as the Upside Down. The show has garnered 39 Primetime Emmy Award nominations (with six wins) and four Golden Globe Award noms.
