New Photos of ‘Candyman’, ‘Don’t Breathe 2’ and More Revealed in Summer Preview

USA Today featured exclusive, first-look photos of upcoming films this summer. Many genre related films are showcased including Candyman, Don’t Breathe 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

Candyman, which is directed by Nia DaCosta and produced by Jordan Peele, is set to be released in theaters on August 27th. The film follows Anthony as he learns the true story behind the Candyman legend.  The new photo features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who plays Anthony taking a break from his artwork.

The Blind Man is set to return to theaters on August 13th in Don’t Breathe 2. The photo shows Norman Nordstrom (played by Stephen Lang) holding a hammer in his right hand. The sequel follows The Blind Man as he has been hiding out for several years in an isolated cabin. Since we last saw him, he has taken in and raised a young girl orphaned from a devastating house fire. Their quiet life together is shattered when a group of criminals kidnap the girl, forcing the Blind Man to leave his safe haven to save her.

Debuting in theaters and HBO Max on June 4th is the highly anticipated The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Horror fans are eager to see more adventures of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren and this latest tale will follow one of the most sensational cases from their files.  What starts as a fight for the soul of a young boy, takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.…… This photo shows Julian Hilliard as he discovers something creepy inside of the waterbed.
