How did Lily ever let him get away?
Rob Zombie has crafted an “origin tale” with his upcoming feature The Munsters and, in keeping with that theme, a photo of Lily with a dashing fellow called Orlock (boy, he looks familiar) dropped this week. Check out the Instagram post of the lovely couple–courtesy of Collider–on this page.
The PG-rated remake of the ’60s TV series–slated to hit Netflix soon after its Sept. 27 release to digital and Blu-ray–is billed as “the greatest love story ever told” and takes a look back at Herman and Lily’s courtship. Herman must have had stiff competition from that heartthrob Orlock.
The Munsters–which recently wrapped production in Budapest–stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa. Original TV cast members Pat Priest and Butch Patrick will also appear in the film.
The rest of the cast includes Richard Brake, Sylvester McCoy, Jorge Garcia, Cassandra Peterson, Catherine Schell, Tomas Boykin, Jeremy Wheeler and Dee Wallace.
