Some actors will do anything to land a part.
Wake–a new horror entry–is being led by genre actor and executive producer Fivel Stewart, according to a report on Deadline.
Stewart–who recently co-starred with Sandra Oh in the Sam Raimi-produced supernatural horror film Umma–will headline Wake, which follows “a struggling actress–desperate for the lead role in a Hollywood remake–who tracks down the lead of the original film, who’s now a mysterious recluse,” according to the synopsis. But, “strange occurrences quickly turn the meeting into a nightmare.”
The film–directed by Tom Arizmendi and Austin Parks Stewart from a screenplay by Elizabeth H. Vu–is also produced by Daniel Blake Smith, Teddy Van Gough and Sam Logan.
