Creature–a Turkish adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic Frankenstein–hits Netflix this Friday, Oct. 20, and a trailer is now here to preview this unique take on the iconic horror tale. Check out the video on this page.
The eight-episode series–created and directed by Cagan Irmak–is produced by 03 Medya. Saner Ayar, Ayse Durmaz, Mine Yilmaz and Cengiz Cagatay serve as executive producers.
The storyline deals with “one of the most fundamental questions of humanity–death and beyond,” as an adventurous and rebellious young medical student named Ziya tries to “cure epidemics that medicine cannot conquer.” Naturally, things go terribly wrong.
The cast includes Taner Olmez as Ziya and Erkan Kolcak Kostendil as Ishan–alongside Engin Benli, Sifanur Gul, Bulent Sakrak, Sema Ceyrekbasi and Devrim Yakut.
