Falling Stars–a new horror feature that will debut at next month’s Locarno Film Festival–released a teaser this week. Check out the video–courtesy of Deadline–on this page.
The film–from the directing team of Richard Karpala and Gabriel Bienczycki–has XYZ Films handling domestic sales and Raven Banner on board for international sales.
Starring Piotr Adamczyk, Orianna Milne, Shaun Duke Jr. and Andrew Gabriel, the movie is set in the “puritanical, fervently religious American West dominated by ritual and old sins passed down across generations.”
In this setting, three brothers “face the costs of coming-of-age, of leaving home and venturing into the wind-blasted badlands of the California desert in search of a legendary witch’s grave.”
