New Godzilla Statue Stomps Onto The Scene From Mondo

You can almost hear the Big Guy roar.

A new premium scale Godzilla statue–based on 2003’s Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.–is on sale from Mondo. Check out the photos of the new collectible–courtesy of Toyark–on this page.

The statue–which stands 16 inches tall on a diorama display base–includes two Mothra larvae, a swap-out closed lower jaw, a swap-out lower jaw that’s chomping on Mothra’s leg, a heat ray attack portrait and an interchangeable tail with an attacking Mothra larva.

The statue–limited to 600 pieces–is priced at $585, with pre-orders open now at The collectible will release between the spring and summer of 2023.

Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.–directed by Masaaki Tezuka from a screenplay he wrote with Masahiro Yokotani–is the 28th entry in the Godzilla franchise and a direct sequel to 2002’s Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. In this war of the behemoths, Godzilla, Mothra and Mechagodzilla (called Kiryu in this installment) enjoy a battle royal.
